Andy Chomos, Chief Executive Officer

Andrew Chomos serves as CEO of Caracal.  Recently Mr. Chomos served in a dual role as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Ritter Technology LLC, a $60 million hydraulics and pneumatics distributor for Parker Hannifin (NYSE PH) with 12 locations in four States.  In this capacity since 1991, Mr. Chomos has a strong track record of profitable operations, ISO 9000 Quality Assurance Certifications, human resources, risk management, strong financial reporting and internal controls.  As a practicing Certified Public Accountant with Ernst & Young for 5 years prior to joining Ritter, Mr. Chomos brings a strong balance of financial wherewithal and operations excellence to the Caracal team.

Dr. Olle Kordina, Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Olle Kordina, VP is one of the world’s leading silicon carbide materials scientists. With over 100 publications and 20 patents, Dr. Kordina has pioneered many of the silicon carbide growth techniques used in the industry today.  He is the main inventor of the High Temperature CVD (HTCVD), the Phase Controlled Sublimation (PCS), the hot-wall CVD techniques, as well as the new technique currently employed at Caracal.  After completing his PhD from Linkoping University in Sweden in 1994, he worked at many leading silicon carbide materials companies, including senior roles at Cree and Sterling Semiconductor.
